Come join Virtual Horizons as we
explore the world from the perspective of those select few who view the
earth from above. You will share in watching the earth revolve and
evolve beneath you as only a bush pilot can. The emphasis will be on bush pilots and bush planes, but
the connecting theme throughout the site will be the desire to fly to the
remote areas of the world.
Live the virtual
present and relive the past as we visit the incredibly beautiful
landscapes of the bush pilot's realm. Experience the sheer excitement of
flying into an otherwise inaccessible rainforest river, tropical lagoon, desert bush camp,
or remote mountain lake in a Cessna, a deHavilland, or any one of a variety
of bush worthy aircraft still flying today.
Not just for
bush pilots, however, the Virtual Horizons site will be for anyone who has
flown or who has ever wanted to fly. We will bring you stories, articles,
letters, and photographs (fact or fiction; past or present) from and about
bush pilots and the places they visit. Read about and communicate with
bush pilots as they wing their way across the vast areas of the world's
untamed wilderness.

Let the "horizon" take you away! When you are not sure of where
to go next, click on the "attitude indicator" to act as your
guide.

In a continuous
attempt to keep this site proactive, I am very pleased to announce that
Virtual Horizons now brings to you a new concept in bush flying. Knowledge
based articles and stories providing information & training required
for operating modern bush planes. The Bush Pilot Company will show you
"how to take the bush out of the bush pilot", and better yet
"how to take the bush out of the bush operation."
On the Virtual
Horizons' Home Page, the next page down from
here, first time visitors can use the bush plane images for moving to the
start of either the Feature Stories page, the Aviation
Friends page, the eBush Communications page or
the new Bush Pilot Company page.
"Feature
Stories" has a collection of aviation stories. "Aviation Friends"
has the bush plane photo gallery, job links, and great flying stories from one of you.
"eBush Communications" has the Bush Pilot Registry and stories
by PropThrust. The "Bush Pilot Company" presents knowledge based
articles and stories on operating modern bush planes. Every other page can
be found from those four centers. For revisits, bookmark the home page.
From there you can use the text links to jump ahead to your destination
page...
Once inside, the attitude indicator (or horizon) at the bottom right of
each page will guide you back to where you started or to the next
destination of choice. The eBush Communications page is the way out. In
other words the "Exit." From there you can jump off into any one
of my Select Site locations.
Finally, if you are interested in ordering books online choose Chapters
and the Canadian flag if you are ordering from Canada, and Amazon and
the American flag if you are ordering from the U.S. or internationally.
